Thank you for your interest in my photography.  Originally from the San Francisco bay area, I currently reside in the Twin Cities.  When I had a photography business in Florida until 2012, my primary goal was to sell well-priced artsy photos I collected throughout my United States travels people could enjoy in their homes and businesses while providing an affordable option for individualized portraits of couples, children, families, pets, and individuals along the way.  Electronic images are still available for purchase.  An example of this can be seen on the cover of Schlumberger's internal magazine, Geoworld, Dec. 10, Issue #54, where my "Tight Rope Walker" was featured.  I've also completed and am currently working on miscellaneous volunteer projects to expand my portfolio and experience. 

My aesthetic tends to be intimate, quirky, and "caught in the actual moment", whether my subject matter comprises objects or people.  When doing portraits, I try to create the highest level of comfort, minimizing disruptions from true moments that take place while I photograph, and maximizing the space between you and my camera lens while maintaining a perceived closeness in your photos.  I want to capture real smiles and laughter.  I'm not interested in fully directing your photos, so if you're looking for someone to pose you, I'm probably not a good match for you—I just want to capture the reality of your moment and will ask for minimal adjustments so that I can ensure your enjoyment of the final product, because it's who you really are.

If you're interested in being fun and experimental and/or have specific ideas you want photographed (to include locations), by all means, throw in any and all before and during your photoshoot.  I try to achieve working for you by working with you.  I don't have highly specialized equipment and make little edits to your photos, which helps keep the simplicity in your photos while maintaining a low price point for you.  Before doing your portraits, I prefer meeting with you so that we can get initially acquainted away from a camera lens and come up with a general game plan for your pictures.
